The gold snuffbox features a rectangular body with rounded vertical edges, with an engraved surface in the form of sunburst rays radiating from the center, and a hinged lid. Under the lid, there is a tobacco compartment with a mirror-polished surface. The lid, the base, and the side facets are decorated with applied floral compositions: a central open flower, a bud, and leaves made of multi-colored gold. The floral compositions are framed by a wavy line of a zigzag ornament. The edges of the lid, the base, and the side surface are decorated with relief rims in the form of a fluted band intertwined with a ribbon. Marks are struck on the flange and on the inner sides of the lid and the base.
