Rectangular gold toilet box (patch box) featuring a hinged lid. The top of the lid is decorated with an oval medallion containing a painted enamel miniature of Cupid shooting an arrow; the scene is executed in grisaille, likely after a 1761 painted original by Charles-André (Carle) van Loo. The medallion is enclosed within a chased frame surmounted by a green enamel bow and set against a pink enamel background naturalistically imitating the texture of marble. The rim of the lid is accentuated by a wide frieze with stylized fluting, complemented by suspended garlands and sprays with champlevé green enamel.
The front and back walls of the body are decorated with enamel inlays imitating lapis lazuli and pink marble. The side panels feature rectangular reserves with allegorical compositions in grisaille: one reserve depicts a ribbon-tied torch and a quiver of arrows, while the other shows a pair of doves. The canted corners of the box are designed as raised fluted columns.
The interior is divided into two compartments. The first is equipped with its own hinged lid, decorated with a grisaille depiction of a sleeping Cupid against a "faux pink marble" background. The second compartment contains an authentic toilet brush with a hexagonal gold handle.

The mark of the Paris workshop is engraved on the inner rim: "V[euv]e George Beaulieu et Gnet à Paris" ("The Widow of George, Beaulieu and Gnet in Paris").
