A flower planter (bouquetiere) made of glazed faience, designed in the form of an open missal (liturgical book) in a leather binding with gilded arabesques at the corners. A stylized gold inscription reading "MISSEL" is placed on the spine. The surface of the undulating pages is decorated with underglaze painting: music staves with treble clefs, musical notes, and liturgical inscriptions in Latin are reproduced against a white background. The margins of the pages are adorned with an ornament of delicate scrolls and a perimeter terracotta-orange border. The sculptural design is completed by two raised ribbon markers (signelles) with gilded tassels at the ends.
