An elongated, boat-shaped planter (cachepot) with rounded sides. The structural support and handle of the piece are formed by the curved, sculptural figure of a large gilded dragonfly: its elongated body smoothly transitions into a loop-shaped handle, while its head and thorax surmount the rim of the vessel. The body of the piece is decorated with an expressive raised ornament in the form of stylized meadow and wetland plants (water lilies, open fluffy blossoms, long stems, and narrow leaves) that gently contour the rounded walls of the boat. At the center of this animalistic composition, a second dragonfly is depicted, clinging with its legs to a vertical vegetal shoot.
