The sculpture depicts a flamenco dancer in an expressive stage pose. One arm is raised behind the head, the other rests on the hip, while the slight curve of the torso gives the figure a characteristic dance rhythm. The smooth golden surface of the body contrasts with the relief texture of the drapery, individual details of which are highlighted with silvering. The marble base provides a restrained support for the figure. Created around 1925, the work reflects the Art Deco interest in stage imagery and dance culture, which became an important theme of decorative sculpture of the period.
