Under the lid, there is a tobacco compartment with a mirror-polished surface. The surfaces of the lid and the bottom panel of the base are framed by a track with smooth grooves and a protruding rim with a relief ornament in the form of acanthus leaves of yellow gold. The rim of the lid and the framing of the bottom panel of the base are also decorated with a chased border of acanthus leaves. The profiled lower edge of the side surface, the rims, and the projection for opening are smoothly polished.
