The snuffbox features a gold body in the form of a cartouche with a hinged lid. On the protruding lid with a profiled edge, there is a relief image of a loving couple and long-haired animals against a rural landscape with a matted ground sky, surrounded by relief scrolls and a floral garland. The bottom panel of the base, the side surface, and the inner surface of the tobacco compartment are mirror-polished. On the inner side of the lid, a small gold tobacco spoon is inserted diagonally.
