    Rectangular gold body features canted corners and a hinged top panel. Beneath the lid lies a tobacco compartment with mirror-polished surfaces. The lid, side panels, and bottom panel are covered in translucent royal blue enamel over zigzag guilloché pattern, framed by gold border. The corners and edges are decorated with turquoise and white champlevé enamel, featuring a multi-colored enamel border and inserts. A watch is mounted on the top panel under the hinged cover with convex glass and bezel set with split pearls. White enamel watch dial features Arabic numerals for hours, Arabic numerals for minutes at fifteen-minute intervals, winding aperture with a square winding arbor, a regulation screw, and two blued steel Breguet hands. The watch movement features a hinged, swing-out pillar plate, a mainspring with fusee and chain, an anchor (lever) escapement, plain three-arm balance, and a quarter-repeater striking on a bell, activated by a slide lever. The snuffbox is housed in a dark blue leather-covered case with a lid and a clasp.
