A pair of single-light candlesticks designed in the form of full-length standing roosters in proud poses with open beaks, imitating a crowing call. The birds' elegantly upward-curved tails connect to their backs, forming shaped loop handles. Molded candle nozzles (bobeches) are fixed onto the heads of the birds.

The first figure is executed in a monochrome palette, entirely covered with blue-and-white underglaze painting against a white background. The plumage on the breast, neck, and body is rendered with stippled and imbricated (scaly) patterns. The lavish tail and shaped handle are adorned with large scrolls and fluid vegetal-ornamental motifs. The round, stable pedestal is decorated with a band of alternating vertical strokes.

The second figure is decorated with a polychrome underglaze painting, featuring a striking accent on the voluminous comb of a rich orange-red hue. The painted design of the lavish tail and wings combines nuances of ochre, blue, brown, and muted green. The breast and neck are covered with an imbricated pattern of feathers with soft transitions from blue to white and cream tones, while the lower part of the body is rendered in a warm yellow-sandy palette with brown hatching. The bird is mounted on a conical, round pedestal that imitates a meadow, painted in green and yellow-brown tones.
