Golden fob in the form of oval case contains miniature musical movement, with thin hollow volumetric ring soldered on top. The enamel image of the coat of arms with two oval fields under the crown is on the bottom lid flat surface.
The lateral surface is formed by alternating
smooth and corrugated strips. The two-part handle is decorated with the images
of laurel flowers and leaves realized in the hollow polychrome enamel technique
on repousse background. The ring external and internal surfaces are
smooth and polished. Winding rod decorated with four oval rims with pink opaque
faceted stones passes through the ring. Wide
ring is fixed on the winding rod upper end. It serves for winding the musical
movement. Miniature musical movement with spring engine is comprised of pinned
cylinder and a stack of tuned
slats. The slider placed on
the case side activates the mechanism.
