Musical automaton in the form of a boy with a piglet is mounted on an octagonal red velvet-covered base with turned feet. The boy holds a pink piglet in his left hand and a piece of bread in his right hand.
The automaton mechanism and a musical movement with a single-tune pinned cylinder and a musical comb are housed inside the base. The case rear side features a key hole and a pull-out start button.
When the mechanism is activated, the boy's figure begins to move: his right hand brings the bread to the piglet's snout and moves back, while his head turns synchronously with the hand and tilts forward. The movement of the piglet's left leather ear is accompanied by grunting sounds. The musical movement plays during the performance.
A winding key is included.
