Rectangular silver cigarette case with rounded corners and rims, featuring a parcel-gilt interior. The body consists of two equal covers connected by a hinge and is fitted with a snap-lock mechanism with a silver push-button. The front cover is decorated with a bust-length portrait of a young dark-haired girl in a stylized traditional Russian costume: a pearled kokoshnik, a lilac dushegreya (body-warmer) with fur trim, and a light-blue short-sleeved blouse. The image is executed in the painted enamel technique; the color palette of the miniature is built on a subtle combination of brown, yellow, white, lilac, and grayish-blue tones. The reverse cover of the cigarette case is smooth and free of decoration.
