A pair of faience vases of an elongated, rounded form with a slightly flaring body. The upper rim of the vases features stylized projections, with two rectangular handles at the top covered in a glaze with an internal metallic (bronze-gold) luster. The front side of the body is divided into several zones: on the left is a vertical panel depicting butterflies with gold-traced wings flying among slender grass stems; on the right is an open white lily (or bog iris) flower. A flying dragonfly is depicted inside the flower. The reverse side of the vases is decorated with a group of gold semicircles imitating sea waves or clouds, scattered across the entire surface of the vessels.
