Automaton in the shape of a mouse with gold body decorated with fine pearls on the engraved enameled surface, with ruby cabochon eyes on a movable head, with four feet, and gold braided tail. A spring-driven control mechanism is mounted in the body. An aperture with pin for winding the mechanism, supporting and lifting elements, driving parts that enable the movement of the mouse are mounted on the body lower panel with goldish relief lattice and pattern. A stop button is under the tail. To demonstrate the automaton movement, one should place it on a flat surface, press the stop button, carefully wind the spring motor with the key, and pull the mouse by the tail; it runs a few centimeters, stops, slightly raises its body, moves its head up and down, then lowers its body and continues running.
