The grandfather clock is executed in a vertical oak casing standing on a stepped plinth with shaped legs. The narrow middle section with a rectangular paneled door on the front side covers weights and a pendulum. The door is hinged on turned brass hinges and locked with a small lock with a shaped handle. The upper part of the paneling is decorated with a relief carved composition featuring flowers in a basket, acanthus leaves, and branches of flowering plants. The clock movement, with a pendulum, deadbeat escapement, and half-hour strike, and the musical mechanism with a carillon are set in motion by two weights. The music turns on every hour.
