The roll features a 100-track program perforation — a coded record of control commands sequence transmitted to a musical instrument to reproduce a melody. The roll is housed in a cardboard case shaped as a rectangular parallelepiped, consisting of a base and a lid covered with burgundy paper, with the edges reinforced with fabric beneath the paper. Inside the case base, wooden inserts with recesses for securing the music roll spool are fixed at the ends with metal staples. White paper labels are affixed to the roll and to the end side of the lid, indicating the playback system name, the catalog number, the title and composer of the piece, the performer's facsimile signature, and the recording date.
