On the facade of the case: “Manopan”, “Patent Breveté S.G.d.G. Trade Mark”, an image of a griffin with a shield bearing the letters “Ch. U” and the inscription “Marque deposeé”. On the pull-out slat: “Forte”.
Organette is housed in a wooden case finished in black piano lacquer, composed of two rectangular sections (a large one and a small one). The case features a frame construction with flat panels bordered by narrow carved moldings. Sensitive levers, dropping into the perforations of the music roll, open the valves of the reeds and cause them to sound in the required sequence.
