The instrument is designed in the shape of a small keyboardless piano in a black lacquered wooden case. A two-wheeled wooden cart with a plank platform between two long handles, painted dark green with golden pinstripes, is used to transport the piano. The wooden spoked wheels with iron rims are mounted on leaf springs.
