This musical automaton is housed in a vertical, rectangular, lacquered case made of light oak, resting on a low plinth, with broken cornice and shaped pediment decorated with carved wooden half-garlands. The automaton is activated by a coin dropped into the coin slot. A lockable coin box is located beneath the drive mechanism. During operation, the interior of the automaton is illuminated by an electric light bulb. The set includes three pinned cylinders.
