On the bottom: for the factory – “МС”; triple hallmark of the Moscow city assay district with initials of the assay master A. Artsibashev “А∙А” above the date “1896”, silver fineness number “84” and the city coat of arms – St. George the Victorious on horseback slaying a dragon with a spear. On the handle: for the factory – “МС”; Moscow city hallmark – St. George the Victorious on horseback slaying a dragon with a spear. On the inner side of the base: Moscow city hallmark – St. George the Victorious on horseback slaying a dragon with a spear.
Oval-shaped biscuit basket resting on smooth circular base, featuring smooth arched hinged handle. Body of the biscuit basket is decorated with two oval medallions containing niello images of Saint Basil's Cathedral and fragment of the Moscow Kremlin panorama from the Moscow River embankment, including buildings of the Armoury Chamber and the Grand Kremlin Palace. Two small circular medallions — one smooth and blank, the other with carved monogram “OC” — are located on the end sides of the piece. Space between the medallions is filled with stylized niello floral ornamentation against matted background.From coffee service with views of Moscow and monogram “OC”.
