Cameo-pressed mark: "G. ARGY-ROUSSEAU" on the body, number: "17748" on the base
The vase features an ovoid shape with gentle
flare toward the upper section of the body. The body is decorated with a relief
frieze depicting black wolves moving across a snowy landscape. The top and
bottom sections of the vase are designed as stylized "waves" that
mimic snowdrifts.
